MY NAME
The name of Francesca gives you a clever, quick, analytical mind, but you suffer with a great deal of self-consciousness, lack of confidence, and much aloneness because of misunderstandings. Your idealistic and sensitive nature gives you a deep appreciation for the finer things of life and a strong desire to be of service to humanity. There are times when you experience inner turbulence at your inability to say what you mean. It is far easier for you to express your deeper thoughts and feelings through writing than verbally. You find pleasure in literature, in poetry, and in your ideals and will turn to them when you feel you have been misunderstood. You are deeply moved by the beauties of life, especially nature.

But I hope some of my pen pals who are waiting for an answer will read this message (especially Go, Sunder, but also my beloved nice-to-be-penpals-again Elena and many others). My Italian friends already know this is a chaotic time for me and I can't wait to have some time to breathe. It's true, the rare spare minutes I've had were spent at my Maya no Garasu no Kamen website (an addiction will always be an addiction ^_^), but believe me this is only a very little part of all the things I would love to add to my site! Also, in the last days I didn't do anything.
Please be patient with me, I will write you hopefully in a couple of weeks.
Please don't be mad at me ç_ç
It's really crazy, my life is rather flat and boring, but when some big events happen, well they happen all together, and I am not very good at facing sudden stressful changes in my life ^_^
On Wednesday I had a job interview (which IS a big event indeed, as since I graduated, in February 2004, I've been called for only a few job interviews), and I am taking some 3 full time test days at this workplace. Today has been the first one, then tomorrow and then...Monday! Tour de force!!!
You have to know that in the weekend I will go to Bologna and meet some friends from the Garasu no Kamen Spoiler Forum. I'm very happy and excited, but I wonder what my conditions will be on Monday! I will leave on Saturday at 6.30 a.m. and I will come back on Sunday at late night. I don't think I will sleep much.
Poor me ^_^
This meeting weekend had been already planned a lot of time ago, when I didn't know I would be called for this job interview and 3 test days! But, I have already bought the train ticket, so tomorrow, Friday 29th after the second long stressful day I will prepare a back pack and I will cook some pasta for the Saturday big lunch... And then I will try to sleep, as I have to wake up very early on Saturday.
As you may guess, I will not touch my computer for a while.
Moreover, on Friday 6th I have an other job interview.
And I have a terrible decision to take. Better a job which is not too bad, but more certain (1- year contract) and probably a little more paid, or the job I've always dreamt of, but with a even low salary and no guarantee for the future (after 6-8 months of work experience)? This doubt doesn't let me relax for a minute.
Anyway, after Friday 6th I'll have more elements to make a comparison. Maybe the uncertain job is not even the job I dream of, or maybe I will not be accepted by the little company where I am taking the 3 test days. So, I'll wait a little more days to think about it.
I hope I'll have a fabulous time in Bologna, and I can't wait to meet my friends in person ^_^
I'll take many photos for sure!
Unluckily, only a small number of the forum members will meet, but well, this is just the first meeting ^_^ I hope there will be other ones!
Also, there is a new member, Daduska, who will not join us for the moment. She lives in Calabria, where my parents are from. About 1200 Km from Trieste. And... I found out we're someway far relatives! This is so wonderful! She's a very good artist, so I am even more proud of this ^_^ We already have 2 things in common! We love drawing and Garasu no Kamen :)
I will not say anything about the Pope. At the beginning I was not happy and I thought he is too conservative. But I think too many jokes and bad things have been said about him... Let us give him a chance and let's pray he will be a good Pope! He's got a very difficult task indeed!Ganbare! ^_^By the way, the ceremonies for the choice of the new Pope are worth while seeing. I was really moved!!!!

Paola is right, I will talk about something nice.
Too many sad events around and in my life, I want to talk about something that makes me happy.
MOVIES
Neverland starring Johnny Depp and Kate Whinslet. I love it.
The Miracle Worker starring fabulous Patty Duke (Hellen Keller) and Anne Bancroft (Annie Sullivan). One of the most involving movies I have ever seen in my whole life. Absolutely a masterpiece. Everybody should see it.
Monsieur Ibrahim and the Fleurs du Coran by Eric Emmanuel Schmitt starring Omar Sharif. A delicate story of love beyond races and religions. Highly recommended.
BOOKS
Finally, I read the first book of 2005 (better late than never!)
Seta by Alessandro Baricco. It's so short (100 pages) that you can read it in a few hours.
But it's not exactly a novel, it's poetry, it's feelings, it's something you can't define, something which gets directly to your heart.
Thanks Nicoletta for lending this book to me!
MANGA & ANIME
Well. I do not know when I will read other volumes of Garasu no Kamen but my passion (and obsession) is far from abadoning me.
I have many projects for my website, if I only could translate from Japanese!!!
Masasumi is already helping me so much, I will never thank him enough :)
The first episode of the brand new anime of Garasu no kamen has been broadcasted in Japan.
I am both excited and envious! Anyway, thanks to my dear Elena, I could download it this morning and I saw it! It's in Japanese and I didn't understand a word, but I know the plot by hearth and the drawings and the voices are so marvellous that I almost cried!!!
I love that anime! I want all the episodes!!! I am getting crazy!!!!
I also bought the Garasu no Kamen OVA from internet, in Japanese with English subtitles.
I love it, though it is interrupted at the Takekurabe episode, i.e. it is even shorter than the old anime! I feel I will love the new anime much more. I will do my best to have it translated into Italian and maybe broadcasted in Italian TV. Hehehe
Orpheus no Mado is perfect in any detail. Only a few volumes and there will not be many exciting manga to read!
Oh, anyway I bought the first number of Anatolia Story by Chie Shinohara and I think I will love it!
And I forgot that from this month on, we will have the Short stories by Suzue Miuchi sensei....
Mmmh I think I can't be saved from my addiction ^_^

The Pope is dying and I am truly shocked and upset.
I was used to his face and his voice, as he was nominated Pope when I was born...
I am not a perfect Catholic, even if I usually go to the Mass on Sundays.
There are several ancient minded things in Catholic Religion which I don't understand and with which I don't agree.
I can't say my faith is as strong as steel.
And still, now that we are losing J. Paulus II, I feel I will miss him so much.
He was a great man indeed. I admire his courage and his strength, and I appreciate the fact that he undestood the importance of mass media to reach Christians in every part of the Earth.
I appreciate his will to travel all around the world, even in dangerous countries, and I can't help crying when I see how much he loved children.
Now, I just wish I were there, praying in front of his house. I am not too good at praying, but I think I will try to pray for him. I hope he'll rest in peace.
Sorry, this is not a April's Fool. I just felt like writing that. After all it's my blog. You can either share my feelings or not, but please respect them.
I don't need anyone to comment this if s/he doesn't REALLY feel like doing it.
You can talk about anything else, anything but offensive comments OK?
Anyway, I will write soon an other post, about movies, manga and everyday things.
This evening, I had to write that.
