I'm falling asleep even if this has been a useless lazy Sunday, but I promised myself that I would update the blog within the end of this week... Cecilia thanks for reminding me that I have a blog :)

Well, I haven't felt like typing any news recently, since there are not many happy things to write... But well, to be honest, there are not too bad events either... So I'll do my best to write what's happening in my lazy life :)

Well, first off, my desperate job search.

1. I passed the selection to attend the Master in Brand Communication in Milano, but I didn't win the scholarship and I can't afford a fee of 9000 € + living expenses in Milano for a year. So I didn't accept. It would have been foolish. I'm fed up with being a student, and I'm fed up of asking my parents for money!!!

2. I didn't pass the selection for a 3month-course + 3 month-stage to become an advertising graphic. It is held here in Trieste and this is the thing I have always dreamt of. To be honest, the selections took so long that I was alread half killed by stress, and when they told me I didn't pass the last selection I almost cried. I wish I cried... I just spent a week like a zombie...
Well, this Sunday I ate so many sweets to forget that I missed the chance of my life, that I can't sleep. So I promised that I will start loving myself from tomorrow on. I will find an other way to get there. I have to!!!

3. I had my application for a scholarship from the European Social Fund approved. So I will work at the small graphic studio near my house for 6 months. Well, it's a just a stage (they call it 'work experience') and the scholarship is really not enough to go by, but hopefully it's something to start from. This is the only thing which makes me believe there's still a chance for me... Better than nothing ne? :)

Well, is there anything more interesting to tell?

I subscribed to the teathre drama and ballet season. The first drama play is on Wednesday 12th. I can't wait! And I am very curious to see the ballets. This is the first time there have been a ballet season at the Rossetti theatre, and the first time I've had the possibility to see ballets live. I adore Tchaikovsky and there are 2 ballets by him! Unluckily, the Nutcracker is not among them... It is definitely my number one! Anyway, the Swan Lake is also fantastic.

I have been to the cinema even 2 times in the last month (which is a miracle for me *LOL*)!!!
Madagascar --> I kinda loved it, it's much better than what I expected! I love the penguins but more than anything else, the lemures rave party!!! I laughed a lot!!!
Howl's moving castle --> I don't know the original story, so I cannot comment the movie from the point of view of the plot. Probably if I had read and loved the book, I would have been disappointed. But I only saw the movie, and I must say that I really fell in love with it. Probably this is the movies by Miyazaki I love best (together with Laputa) . Being an aesthete, I couldn't help adoring every single scene of the animation movie, astonished like a child. A+++ to this excellent work.

Oh, and I finally watched (at home)
Shrek 2 --> Incredible but true. It's marvellous and extremely funny. Usually, I don't like #2s, but this time I must admit they did a great job. I love both number 1 and number 2, I couldn't choose my favourite one!!!

Since I've finally started going to the gym, I don't have many occasions to watch the TV in the evenings, and even if I have one, I'm too tired. But, there is an important date I can't miss. Every Friday at 9 p.m., my beloved Horatio is on TV (CSI Miami), and even though I know it's American trash TV, well, my sister, mum and I always do our best to be at home to watch it :)
I was very disappointed at Speedle's death, but the new entry is nice. Anyway, I am even more disappointed because of Yelina... Why doesn't she fall in love with Horatio? :(

I've read a book I would recommend to anyone who loves beauty, ancient traditions and Japan. It's The 4th Treasure by Todd Shimoda. It's a sad love story between a shodo teacher and his student, but also a tribute to the beauty of the ancient discipline of calligraphy (shodo) , a story of 2 shodo schools, some interesting elements of Japanese and American society... And much more... I can't describe it in a few lines but I really loved it!!

Argh! I've bought on ebay the 2 DVDs of Pride and Prejudice BBC miniseries (yep you guessed it, starring Colin Firth hehehe) one month ago and the packet hasn't arrived yet! I wrote to the seller (she's from England, not so far from Italy!) some weeks ago and she said that it was still in England, that she would have it sent back and that she would send it again. I wrote her again because I am so worried! It was not that cheap, and I would be very diappointed if I never got it! I'm very very very worried >_<
Go! He sent me a CD! It's Survive by B'z, his favourite J-pop band and probably one of my favourites too since they sang 2 songs included in the Garasu no Kamen Drama OST!!! Go even translated them for me (I put his translations in my site... Grazie Go!!!). The songs are called Calling and Happiness and they are marvellous. They are in the CD, and the other songs are also great. I love Liar! Liar! at the moment, even if Calling is probably my favourite one... I see Seichi Tanabe every time I hear that song hehehe °_°

Oh no! It's almost 1 a.m. so the new week has already started. I must go to sleep.... But... I ate too much chocolate and I feel like I could stay awake for weeks! *_*
