MY NAME

The name of Francesca gives you a clever, quick, analytical mind, but you suffer with a great deal of self-consciousness, lack of confidence, and much aloneness because of misunderstandings. Your idealistic and sensitive nature gives you a deep appreciation for the finer things of life and a strong desire to be of service to humanity. There are times when you experience inner turbulence at your inability to say what you mean. It is far easier for you to express your deeper thoughts and feelings through writing than verbally. You find pleasure in literature, in poetry, and in your ideals and will turn to them when you feel you have been misunderstood. You are deeply moved by the beauties of life, especially nature.

Happy birthday to me! Happy birthday to me! Happy birthday dear Happy, happy birthday to me!

Well, thanks for your greetings and do you want to know how I celebrated it? I waited for midnight and I ordered this book on amazon.co.uk:
Victorian Painting
I chose it but it is kindly offered by my family :)
Not that I gave them many chances LOL

Now, let me tell you that it's 2 days the 1-month trial period has finshed and I am still here! I started sending out the home address to my good old pen pals!
I am very happy to spend some more time with Polly and the girls. They are special persons, if you forgive the fact that they still want me at home after one month LOL

Anyway, I am not proud of myself. I don't know if it's the weather (it must be one of the main reasons though), or the decaffeinated tea, or the too much food I eat, anyway I always feel like sleeping! I MUST find a way to use the evenings to study and to update my sites, since the mornings are spent at the English course and the afternoons with the girls and doing the housework... Otherwise I will get back to Italy (one day I have to get back I guess ^_^) like I left it, with just more wrinkles >_<
Time in London flies much more quicker than in my little provincial town! There is much more to do, but also much more time spent in the traffic! It's a little frustrating and I am not able to organize my time yet. I am still working at it. I will write tons of emails again and I will not abandon my site! I promise!!!
Anyway, since today is a special Friday 13, I didn't do anything, and still I am not tired because I drank a lot of normal tea ^_^

Let me add a beautiful image of one of my best known obsessions:
Lizzy and Darcy
(Don't you dare to ask what it is LOL)

...And, let me add the new one (well, the book was already my very favourite book ever...):
JaneEyre

In case you still wonder what it could be, yest it's JANE EYRE, the 2006 mini-series.
BBC1 couldn't have chosen a better gift for me in my first year in the UK :)
Next Sunday I'll watch the 4th and last episode. And then I will start being obsessed. Or maybe I am already. Well, the first 3 episodes already bewitched me, I don't think the last will disappoint me that much. To tell the truth, I don't like it that they never use a very ugly Rochester, and I don't understand why they don't use at least a dark-haired and dark-eyed Rochester (COLIN would be ok maybe - just suggesting hehe), anyway I think Toby Stephens' Rochester is irresistable. Better than William Hurt's, even if Charlotte Gainsbourg IS Jane Eyre in Zeffirelli's movie. Oh! I wish I had seen other versions of this masterpiece of English literature! I read positive reviews about some older TV adaptations. Anyway... If someone feels like cheering me up for S. Valentine's Day, well, in February 2007 the DVD of the 2006 BBC version will be released LOL

Ok. Time to go to bed. I have a lot of homework to do, but I guess I'll end up doing it in the weekend (oh no, I'm back to school at the age of 28!!!).

I just wanted to add that if you ever come to the UK, you MUST eat the fruity malt loaf, absolutely the most delicious thing I have eaten here. And the fennell herb tea. An other divine invention. Not joking!!!

I will not write a thanks list because it would be too long. And I don't want to forget anyone. ^_^

Good night! Happy Friday 13th all and have a lovely weekend!
