MY NAME
The name of Francesca gives you a clever, quick, analytical mind, but you suffer with a great deal of self-consciousness, lack of confidence, and much aloneness because of misunderstandings. Your idealistic and sensitive nature gives you a deep appreciation for the finer things of life and a strong desire to be of service to humanity. There are times when you experience inner turbulence at your inability to say what you mean. It is far easier for you to express your deeper thoughts and feelings through writing than verbally. You find pleasure in literature, in poetry, and in your ideals and will turn to them when you feel you have been misunderstood. You are deeply moved by the beauties of life, especially nature.

Oh December 11th, a terrible dictator, responsible for horrible crimes against humanity died in the hospital at the age of 91, surrounded by his loved ones. He never faced a trial, but only because of his bad health conditions. His funeral was conducted with military honours at the Military Academy.
Some comments from the BBC website (about the one who was hanged)
"Seeing the video, I just thougt he is just a human being, one of us." Yu, Tokyo
"He also showed more dignity than his executioners, who taunted him like children."
Not the best way to end a year. Anyway, I don't want to write more about that. A lot has been said already. I talked a lot against death penalty in group discussions during the English lessons and a lot of people agreed with me. A lot of people agree with me in the world. And still he was hanged. Did we need an other martyr? How many new martyrs will be created? I guess the western dictators know the answer. I would like to strangle anyone who thinks that we are free in this world.
Well. That's enough, really. Besides that big issue, I didn't have much time for philosophy, for my crises and angst (hohoho probably all my energies were spent for digestion... ). Besides eating like a piglet, I had a lot of boring things to do (medical visits, queing in the post office and so on) but also pleasant things to do (meeting all the persons I feel like talking to - unluckily I couldn't meet them all because some were away on holiday! - and spending time with my family, especially with my beloved sister). I still have some manga to read, and I couldn't watch all the DVDs/videotapes I wanted to watch (anyway I loved especially the DVD of "The Phantom of the Opera" and "The Corpse Bride" while "The Chocolate Factory" was so and so, not too bad though ). And I answered a lot of emails (still have to write some tonight!).
I am in such a hurry, because tomorrow I have to leave! I still have a lot of things to do, so there is no time for depression now. It's true, busy is the happiest way to be! Not for a too long time though :p
Also, the sun is so warm here and the sky is so blue that I cannot help feeling sooo happy to be in Italy :)
But I love London too. There are some nice things (and people) there as well!
And I am sure I will be very depressed next week, not for the bad weather but because of the (too much) weight I will have to lose. My mother is a criminal, she bought loads of my favourite food (especially sweets, chocolate, cakes...) and she knows I am not able to control myself >_<
Well, I hope your holidays has been fabuolus. I will type my next message from the UK. And I will update my website very soon! I can't wait :)
