MY NAME
The name of Francesca gives you a clever, quick, analytical mind, but you suffer with a great deal of self-consciousness, lack of confidence, and much aloneness because of misunderstandings. Your idealistic and sensitive nature gives you a deep appreciation for the finer things of life and a strong desire to be of service to humanity. There are times when you experience inner turbulence at your inability to say what you mean. It is far easier for you to express your deeper thoughts and feelings through writing than verbally. You find pleasure in literature, in poetry, and in your ideals and will turn to them when you feel you have been misunderstood. You are deeply moved by the beauties of life, especially nature.

Multimedia post
Sorry for the last posts.
This one will be much lighter :)
I can't believe it's only one month since I working at SD. Oh well, in fact is more than a month now :p And so many things happened!
I started going to the gym after more than a year of doing nothing and I'm really enjoying it :)
I got my NI number, my first site sign off, my first monthly early morning company meeting; a pretty birthday present from my company - actually I bought it, with a voucher for Habitat. I really needed a desk lamp for my room, and I was overjoyed to find one my favourite colour!!! Ladies and Gentleman, let me introduce my sweet Tommy :)

And let me show you my birthday at SD (blowing candles with Krystin) and my sibling's birthday family lunch at our favourite restaurant in Slovenia where they prepare a superb Raffaello cake! We use to celebrate there every year, but this is the second year I've missed it :(
They took this photo especially for me :)

What else happened? Verity left the company after 2 years, and flew back to her sunny Australia. Even if I arrived only a short time ago, I was really sad to see her go. We celebrated her with some presents (the best ones were a book with our photos and messages and a crazy snowball from the crazy Kerry), but the most moving and touching touch was this video skillfully directed by Liza, starring some of my cool colleagues.
I couldn't help laughing and at the same time I thought Verity will treasure a copy of it forever :)
I have never been a fan of Take That, but Touch That rock :)
Before I go to bed, I have to tell you that I hate Halloween, and I didn't celebrate it at all. But I am not against other cultures and traditions :p For example, I went to see the fireworks at Ally Pally for the Bonfire Night (like last year, I adore it!) and I will have my first Thanksgiving Dinner on Thursday 22nd with Krystin (who is American as you may guess) and a lot of people! I can't wait!
Oops. I forgot to add the most important recent news. A very few days ago the managing director and art director were fired. We were all shocked and also worried for the future of the company and our future of course.
Anyway, at the moment they are reassuring us that the change will be as smooth as possible. We will change location, but the most things will remain the same. I hope so!
The new MD seems a nice person, he tries to talk to all of us to know our opinion. I will talk to him on Monday. Anyway, I am the newsest entry, only in January I will know if I have my contract.
I don't want to worry too much about that. I am doing what I can when I work and that's it.
An other thing is worrying me much more. I am the only idiot that goes to the gym and puts on weight! Ehm. No, it's not muscles. It's just that I arrive at home at 10.30 some days, starving, and no way I'm gonna cook.
So, junk food suddendly pops up out of my cupboard (haha, as if it wasn't me who does the shopping) and becomes my dinner!!
I would like to sue the Government for allowing supermarkets to sell dangerously cheap sweet food. Do you want to see some of my addictions?
1. Challah bread.

A jewish sweet sort of bread. Luckily this is not sold in supermarkets. But for some time, Anna from the bakery gave us several ones... I could eat a whole loaf in one day!
And it's very big ^_^
2. Soreen malty loaf

I guess I talked about this before. I wish I could control myself. I consider it a good achievement if I eat only half of it!!! I can't describe how mouth-watering this fruity loaf is. And I tried also the Cinnamon & Raising and the Lincolnshire Plum fruit versions.
3.Raspberry Swiss Roll

Still my favourite Swiss Roll, but I've just tried the chocolate + vanilla version and I love it as well. Both from Tesco. Ridiculously cheap. Amazingly delicious.
4. And now, the most irresistable food ever at the moment. More than meringues and marsh mallows. I have talked about it already since I am kind of obsessed. And it's Xmas time, so you can buy them every where.

I am talking about ginger nuts. The ones in the picture can be bought in supermarkets all year long, but now in every bakery (and even Greggs) you can see cute gingerbread men, and everywhere you can see the German iced gingerbread nuts (Pfeffernüsse), iced or covered with chocolate. I am crazy for the ones sold at Lidl (round, black and white). I bought 3 big packs and finished them in 2 weeks. I can only hope Xmas arrives soon, so that I can't buy them any more :p
Now that I shared with you part of my serious eating disorders, I have an important question...
Why Britons are so creative about measure units? I cannot compare prices of fruit and vegs, since even in the same super market some are sold per piece, some per kg, some per lb. And even better at the fruit and vegs market, there are even bowls stands: everything is in bowls, so you can buy a bowls of tomatoes or of grapes for example.
Now, I understand being original. But not being so stubborn.
Different units of measurement used by different teams caused the failure of one or even more space missions, if I am not wrong...
Ok. I will leave you with a breath-taking performance by Night-Wish: the Phantom of the Opera. It gives me thrills!!! Cecy, I hope you'll like it :)
