Hello world! :)
My name is Francesca Mancuso.
When I was a child I thought I wanted to become a painter.
But I did not choose the right school, and I ended up graduating in Materials Engineering :)
Anyway, since I first happened to use some computer graphics software and since I first surfed the net,
I decided that what I really want to do in my life is web design.
I self-taught html and css when I was a student, while also learning
how to use Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator (I
attended some courses for both).
From October 2005 to May 2006 I had work experience as a web-designer in my city
(Trieste, Italy), and I learnt how to add animation to web sites with Macromedia
Flash.
I also started being very interested in SEO, usability,
(x)html/css validation; I am always happy to learn as much as possible and
to put into practice what I have learnt in every website I create.
I studied some C++ programming at the University, which is helping me a lot now that I learning and using
php and JavaScript, and I am sure will help me when I start
studying Action Script.
After all, graduating in a scientific discipline was not that bad :)
On August 2006 I moved to London to have more opportunities.
Currently, I work as a web developer in London.
I am creating this website for fun but also to show some samples of my works;
it is just a small site for now.
I will hopefully add much more works soon! :)
