Klaus zon Maschmidt
Julius sees Klaus through the window of Orpheus in the first
number of the manga and from that moment on her destiny is
written: their love will last forever but it would end unhappily.
Klaus is not just the smart, charming student of violin Julius
meets in classes; in reality he's a Russian refugee, fled from
Russia after his brother's death. He will return to Russia, to
give all his strength, will and life for the cause of the
Revolution. His devotion for his homeland will make him neglect
Julius, with fatal consequences. Klaus' character is irremediably
flat and lacks nuances; this doesn't prevent him from having many
admirers (included Francesca, the webmistress ♥).
