Maria Barbara
First
daughter of Herr von Alensmeier and his first wife, Maria Barbara
showed a strong character since she was a child. She feels an
unrequited love for professor Virkrich, who gave her piano
lessons, and because of this she's jealous of Renate. She's the
only one who will survive to her family's catastrophe, firstly
starting a new business with Moritz' company, and then accepting
the wooing of Davidt. Strong-minded, calm, patient, with a head
on her shoulders, Maria Barbara is one of the few positive
characters of "Orpheus no Mado".
