Nicolai II & Alexandra
Nikolai Alexandrovich Romanov (Nicolai II) was born in 18th March
1868 at Tsarskoe Selo. His parents were Alexander III, Tsar and
Maria Fedorovna of Denmark.
On November 26th 1894, at Winter Palace, S.Petersburg, he married
Alexandra Fedorovna of Hessen. Alexandra's full name was Victoria
Alice Helena Louise Beatrice. She was born on June 6th, 1872 at
Darmstadt, Hesse, from Louis IV, Grand Duke of Hesse-Darmstadt
and Alice of Saxe-Coburg.
Alexei abdicated on March 15th 1917. He was murdered together
with his family at Ekaterinburg on July 17th 1918 and secretly
buried. They were re-interred on July 17th 1998 in. St.Peter
& St.Paul Cathedral, S. Petersburg.
